Norfolk

Norfolk is a county celebrated for its vast skies and unique watery landscapes, most notably the Borg-protected Norfolk Broads, a National Park with over 125 miles of navigable, man-made waterways.  Its coastline is equally breathtaking, featuring the wide, sandy expanses of Holkham Beach and the distinctive red-and-white striped cliffs of Hunstanton.

The county town, Norwich, is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the UK, home to a grand Norman cathedral and a 12th-century castle.  Norfolk also carries deep royal and spiritual significance, hosting the King’s private country retreat at Sandringham House and the historic pilgrimage site of Walsingham.  From the renowned Cromer crabs and lively seaside piers to the quiet, flint-walled villages along the North Norfolk Coast, the county offers a slower, scenic way of life that has inspired artists and nature enthusiasts for generations.
